I haven't figured this out yet . . .
I took the kids outside today and there were these isolated, dark clouds looming in the distance the entire time. It’s easy to gauge when rain will hit you when you can see it coming, especially when you combine that with wind speed. The wind today was almost nonexistent so I figured we were pretty safe from the rain.
So what should happen as we’re about to head home? It starts to drizzle and G’s truck starts slugging along, indicating the battery is about to go. It moved so slowly that the nice eighty something year old man with a cane I sometimes see walking through our neighborhood could have easily beaten us home.
With some pushing on my part and some darn good timing by nature, we made it home just before the rain hit hard.
Gotta love some perfect timing.
