A Race Worthy Of The Olympics, In Pictures
In the spirit of the Olympics, G challenged me to a race. He rode his scooter, I pushed C in a stroller. This is how the race went.
Exerting the least amount of effort in today’s race, Queen C sat comfortably in her chariot through most of the race.
G got off to an early lead.
Perhaps the only race with an intermission, G decided to stop and . . . well, pick some flowers.
But it was all in the name of sportsmanship.
G took a tumble later in the race that lost him his advantage.
But alas, like a true champion, he overcame, and stood above the competition, looking back only upon those who were not fast enough to beat him.
And then he did a victory lap, leaving me, the loser, to carry his scooter and helmet home for him.
