I haven't figured this out yet . . .
I don’t think it’s a secret that kids imitate each other. It can be nice if they’re copying good behavior like hugging or sharing, but more often than not it seems like it’s the bad behavior that gets imitated.
We tell the kids all the time not to pull on their tent that hangs in the playroom because it’s starting to tear up at the top. C started pushing her face through one of the little windows and even though we were scolding her not to pull on the tent, it was kind of cute. G followed suit, despite the fact that he was also scolding C when she pulled on the tent.
I guess sometimes naughty behavior can be cute.
