I am Mrmomman and currently live in Virginia, though my heart will always reside where I grew up; Hawaii.
I’d like to say that I make my living doing what I love, which is writing. Like so many other poor souls in this world, I find myself unemployed in a bad economy. Hence, I am Mrmomman. I enjoy my family and, due to economic circumstances, the increased time with my children. So it’s not all bad.
When I’m not looking for any type of job that will have me, I enjoy reading, writing, playing with my children, and cleaning the house. Yeah, I said it. I like to clean. But I don’t like to cook. In fact, I don’t even really like food. I digress.
I also enjoy sports, films, and whenever it’s actually good, t.v.
There’s more to me, but I’m not all about sharing personal information over the internet. So this brief and superficial description will have to suffice those curious enough to read this page.
Thanks for reading my blog.
Love your blog! momanddad.
I also write and I started my blog as a way to chronicle my journey in parenting and as a way to keep me writing regularly. Love the idea of seeing a dad’s perspective on it all.
This is great! Keep up the good work.
I like your blog.
I would like to know more about your interaction with moms and nannies.
My hunsband enjoyed a 8 months paternity leave and he used to tell very funny stories about other kids’ nannies, moms, grandmas.
This is great. Love hearing the dad’s perspective. Except I have a hard time trusting people who don’t like food. Or desserts. It seems weird. I’ll keep reading to see whether you seem weird or not…
There’s weird and there’s creepy weird. I will admit I am weird, but I don’t think I’m weird in a creepy way. I should clarify that I’m really just a picky eater, but I do see food as more of a biological necessity, rather than a pleasurable activity. Thanks for reading!
Hey, we’re both in the south (you-VA, me-GA) but we aren’t really. I grew up in MI, and though I do love it here, my heart is still up north. Do you still visit Hawaii?
You’re a talented writer, and I find your sense of humor refreshing. Hope you make it big writing someday soon! =)
Oh yeah, my heart is very much in Hawaii, still. I’ve been back a few times, but the cost and time it takes to visit is prohibitive. Thank you for your kind words and well wishes.
Hi mrmomman. Thanks for your nomination, believe me it is greatly appreciated but I do find that I am unable to keep up with all the attention that these awards bring. I will however, keep dropping by your site and no doubt see and read more about your wonderful family. Also I will keep commenting on worthy blogs such as yours. Hope you soon find employment and keep up the good work. (cleaning!). Thanks again. David
