Since I’ve recently found myself unemployed, I need something to occupy my time. And that something is blogging.
At the start of 2012, I began a project aimed at writing a post every day of the year. In short, the idea is to photograph my children every day and writing something that has something to do with the photo. Some days it might just be the photos.
My children are my inspiration and they give me purpose every day, as I’m sure many other parents feel the same way about their children. Raising children is, after all, a creative process. So, in a way this blog, at least for 2012, chronicles that creative process in, hopefully what those who read this blog will find to be, a creative way.
You rule, says me. Because of this, I bestow upon you the Versatile Blogger Award. For more information, visit my blog: http://thegoodthebadandthesaggy.wordpress.com/2012/03/27/the-versatile-blogger-award-yay/
I hope you will accept this award and spread the buttery blogging love. Congratulations!
Wow, I’m very surprised. Thank you so much! I need to work on finding fifteen people to forward the love on to. Thanks again!
Well deserved! ps. I don’t think I made it to 15, so I just shared some blogs that I enjoy.
i hear you about wanting to be able to write professionally; the unemployment situation; and parenting being a creative process. children are the greatest insipriation. keep it up!
Thank you. I agree about children being the greatest inspiration. They force you to see the world differently than you would without them.
I love it. I am a part-time stay at home dad and writing a blog helps me come to terms with the good and bad of it all. I love what you’re doing; the writing, the raising kids, being a present dad. I hope you’ll check out my blog at http://www.daddysday.wordpress.com.
